Our self-developed machine repairs your ventilation ducts quickly and efficiently, restoring them to full working condition.
Are bent or damaged ventilation ducts also a recurring issue at the end of your storage season?
It happens every year — a duct is accidentally hit during loading or unloading of potatoes or onions.
Once the ducts are bent, they can no longer be properly used in the following storage season.
The sections no longer fit together correctly, leaving openings that are too large, allowing potatoes or onions to roll into the duct. In some cases, the structural strength is reduced to such an extent that the risk of reuse becomes too great.
If a ventilation duct collapses during storage, it can block the entire ventilation system — with serious consequences. Without proper ventilation, the product can no longer be stored correctly, and premature unloading may become necessary.
However, purchasing new ventilation ducts every year is also a costly solution.
In 2008, we developed a specialized machine capable of repairing virtually all common types of ventilation ducts, restoring them to like-new condition.
The machine operates on industrial power (16A or 32A) and can be equipped with different types of rollers, allowing multiple duct types to be repaired using the same system. Through controlled hydraulic pressure (carefully regulated and not excessive), deformations are corrected and the duct is restored to its original shape and dimensions.
Depending on the type, size of the duct, and the extent of the damage, between 10 and 25 ducts can be repaired per hour.
With this machine, we can carry out the repair work directly at your location, as it fits easily in the back of a service vehicle.
Only a forklift is required to unload the machine, after which repairs can begin at virtually any suitable location.
